Ravens are kmown to be able to transcend and move between realms in folklore. They are both protectors and healers, holding the duality of the 'original Raven brothers' whereby one was filled with kidness, the other bitterness. As the bitter Raven sought to kill his brother because he hated his kindness and appeal to others. In folklore, the kind brother simply stated, "I was waiting", and with that, the bitter brother lost all colour from its feathers as it became one with its kind brother. This is why they hold duality and also why there are literal white ravens, if you're lucky enough to cathch sight of one.
